CHIKO returns to Erebus as naming rights partner for Jobe Stewart’s full-time Supercars debut
Erebus Motorsport is proud to welcome CHIKO back as primary partner for Jobe Stewart’s #9 Chevrolet Camaro, as the 21 year old prepares to make his full-time Supercars Championship debut at the opening round of the 2026 season at Sydney Motorsport Park.
The renewed partnership continues one of the most recognisable brand relationships in Australian motorsport, with CHIKO and Erebus sharing success on the sport’s biggest stage.
CHIKO branding adorned the Erebus entry that claimed victory in the 2024 Bathurst 1000, before returning in 2025 as part of a campaign that saw Stewart and Cooper Murray fighting for the win deep into the closing stages of the Great Race.
Now, CHIKO takes on naming rights status for Stewart’s #9 Camaro as he embarks on his first full season in the Supercars Championship.
The new livery, designed by renowned motorsport designer Peter Hughes, delivers a bold modern interpretation of the iconic CHIKO look, blending the brand’s heritage with a fresh identity for a new generation of fans.
Erebus Motorsport Chief Operating Officer Carly Hammersley said the relationship with CHIKO has become a genuine part of the team’s story.
“CHIKO feels like part of the Erebus family now. They’ve been with us through some of the biggest moments of the past few seasons, and it feels incredibly fitting that they’ll be alongside Jobe as he takes this next step in his career.”
“There’s a lot of belief in Jobe internally, and a lot of belief from CHIKO as well. This partnership is built on genuine connection, not just branding on a car.”
“CHIKO will also feature on the #9 car at this year’s Bathurst 1000, and we’re open to conversations with other brands who want to experience the same kind of exposure and engagement that CHIKO has enjoyed through its partnership with Erebus.”
CHIKO Marketing Manager Eleanor Henry said continuing the relationship with Erebus and Stewart was an easy decision.
“Our partnership with Erebus has been such a positive experience, and being part of both the 2024 Bathurst win and last year’s incredible run is something we’re really proud of.
“Jobe represents the future of the sport, and we love that CHIKO can support emerging talent in a way that feels authentic and fun. The new livery is bold, it’s fresh, and it captures exactly what this partnership is about.”
Stewart said carrying the CHIKO colours into his first full-time Supercars season was special.
“CHIKO has been part of some of the biggest moments of my career already, so to start this chapter together feels right. I’m really looking forward to getting to Sydney to kick off the season, it’s a great place to start, and having CHIKO on the car there makes it even more special.”
