HOPE ENERGY FUELS EREBUS MOTORSPORT'S RETURN TO THE GOLD COAST 500
Erebus Motorsport is set to hit the streets of Surfers Paradise with Hope Energy back on board the #99 Camaro for this weekend’s Gold Coast 500.
The partnership sees Hope Energy return with a refreshed orange and grey livery on the #99 Camaro, as Cooper Murray prepares to take on one of the most iconic events on the Supercars calendar.
Hope Energy first partnered with Erebus at the 2024 Gold Coast 500 where Brodie Kostecki powered the #99 Camaro to victory in Sunday’s race. This year, the team is looking to build on that success as Murray carries strong momentum from an impressive Bathurst 1000 alongside co-driver Jobe Stewart.
Erebus Motorsport CEO Barry Ryan said the team is proud to continue its relationship with Hope Energy at a track that holds great memories for the team.
“It’s fantastic to have Hope Energy back with us on the streets of Surfers Paradise. Last year’s win with Brodie was a highlight, and with Cooper’s recent form, we’re confident we can keep that rolling.”
Fans will also get the chance to see the new-look #99 Hope Energy Camaro up close, with Murray and Stewart appearing at the Hope Energy Biggera Waters outlet this Thursday 23 October from 11am–1pm.
Cooper said he’s proud to represent Hope Energy and excited for the weekend ahead.
“It’s great to have Hope Energy back with us. They were part of a winning combination last year and it’s awesome to carry that partnership forward. The Gold Coast track is always a challenge, but it’s one I’m really looking forward to and hopefully we can bring home a surfboard this weekend.”
