SNAP-ON TOOLS TO POWER COOPER MURRAY'S #99 CAMARO AT SYMMONS PLAINS
Erebus Motorsport is excited to reveal that long-time partner Snap-on Tools will take centre stage as primary partner on Cooper Murray’s #99 Camaro for Round Four of the Supercars Championship — the Tasmania Super440 at Symmons Plains Raceway.
Snap-on has been a trusted partner of Erebus for many years, supplying the team with industry-leading tools both at the track and back in the workshop. Now, the partnership will extend to a striking full-car livery set to turn heads as Murray continues his rookie Supercars campaign.
“Snap-on is an iconic brand in the motorsport world, and to have their support on the #99 car in such a big way is really special,” Murray said. “It’s a brand I’ve grown up around and respected, so it’s a proud moment to carry their colours in my first full Supercars season.”
Erebus CEO Barry Ryan said the expanded presence of Snap-on at Symmons Plains is a natural progression of the longstanding relationship.
“Snap-on has been with us for a long time and continues to provide the best tools in the business, they’re part of the fabric of this team,” Ryan said. “To have them come on board with a full-car livery just in time for Tasmania is fantastic, and we think the car looks amazing. We’re excited to show it off."
The livery has been brought to life by the team at SS Signs with Orafol and PPG products.
The Tasmania Super440 kicks off tomorrow, with three sprint races across the weekend. Fans will get their first look at the Snap-on #99 Camaro when it hits the track for Practice 1 from 11:55am local time.
